Radiocarbon Palaeolithic Database Europe v28
The database, version 28 (first version was available in 2002), contains now 13419 site forms, (most of them with their geographical coordinates), comprising 17878 radiometric data: Conv. 14C and AMS 14C (13919 items), TL (1080 items), OSL (765 items), ESR, Th/U and AAR (2224 items) from the European (Russian Siberia included) Lower, Middle and Upper Palaeolithic. All 14C dates are conventional dates BP. This improved version 28 replaces the older version 27. 188 new sites are incorporated and 314 sites have a corrected or an updated content.

The database uses Microsoft Access ©. After downloading, you can use the database with a procedure as described below. For those who have no access to Microsoft Access software, there is also an excel–file (Radiocarbon Palaeolithic Europe Database v28 Jun 2021 extract), with restricted content but with all dates. It can be directly downloaded from https://ees.kuleuven.be/geography/projects/14c-palaeolithic/. The excel file is also available via academia.edu and researchgate.net (https://www.researchgate.net/project/Radiocarbon-Palaeolithic-Europe-Database)
Our dates (older version) are included in the “Canadian Archaeological Radiocarbon Database (CARD 2.0)” http://www.canadianarchaeology.ca/. We used several other database such as: https://sites.google.com/ehu.eus/c14peninsulaiberica. We used also CRC806-E1 LGM-Sites Database V-20150313, Researchdata maintained by Isabell Schmidt created on 07.04.2015.
